Our Story
A Carson crew that shows up and sweats the details
Chavez Landscaping is a Carson crew run by owner Mike Chavez. We take care of yards across the South Bay, from twice-a-month gardening to stone patios, retaining walls, sprinkler repairs, and tree trimming. Whether your yard needs a full makeover or just a regular hand, you'll deal directly with the owner and a crew that pays attention to the details.
Our Values
What we won't compromise on
Show up when we say we will
Our gardening clients count on the same day, every visit. If something changes, you hear it from us first.
Treat every yard like our own
Clean edges, swept walks, and nothing left behind. The small stuff is what people notice.
Be honest about what a property needs
We'll tell you when something can wait instead of upselling you on it.
Trust Signals
Why South Bay homeowners stick with us
- The owner answers
Call or text and you get Mike, not a call center. Customers say he gets back to them right away.
- We show up, every time
Routes run on a set schedule. Our maintenance clients tell us we haven't missed an appointment.
- One crew, start to finish
Weekly gardening, a new patio, a broken sprinkler, a tree over the roof. Same crew, one number to call.
- Detail-minded work
Clean edges, blown-off walks, debris hauled away. We leave the yard better than we found it.
- Residential and commercial
Homes, rentals, multi-unit buildings, and small commercial properties across the South Bay.

"We hired Michael Chavez, the owner of Chavez Landscaping, to service both our front and backyards twice a month. He and his crew are prompt and have not missed any appointments since we hired them. When we ask them to do any specific landscaping, the response is always, "No problem." They are efficient, fast, and get the job done!"
"I was in need of a new gardener at two properties that not only did regular maintenance but knew how to install and fix an existing watering system. Mike came over right away and fixed the problem. He and his crew were fast and professional and did an amazing job. Mike also gets back to you right away when you message him. A+"
"Most people come and do enough to say they got the job done. This team of guys come and pay attention to detail. I am very happy with my yard!"
